Q: What's the difference between Fast Ship Labels and Full Color Labels?
A: Our Fast Ship Labels print in one ink color on colored material (for example, black ink on a magenta surface). Our Full Color Labels use a four color process to make full color labels. For Fast Ship Labels, you use an online design tool to typeset the label and update graphics or logos. For Full Color Labels, you upload your finished artwork, with label already designed.
Q: How do I prepare my artwork for Full Color Labels?
A: Your art needs to be uploaded as a PDF, TIFF, JPEG, or EPS file. You can change your art's file type by selecting the "Save As . . . " option in the File menu of most graphics programs, then clicking the "Save As Type" drop down menu to an accepted graphic type. Your artwork should have a resolution of at least 300x300 dpi, and a CMYK color mode (RGB is not accepted).
Please note: add a 1/8" border to your Full Color Label if you would like a bleed (if your label is 1" x 2", make your artwork 1.125" x 2.125"). We cut down this extra 1/8" so that your artwork goes all the way to the label's edge. Without a bleed, there will be a small white border around your label. Q: When do I see a proof of my finished Custom Label?
A: When you are done typesetting your Fast Ship Labels and Shipping Labels, you will be shown a proof of your work. Please proof your work carefully (spellcheck, make sure its just as you want it); it's easy to overlook mistakes. For Full Color Labels, we will email you a proof of your label for approval before we charge you.
Q: What is the minimum order size?
A: The minimum order is a roll of 500 stickers or labels.
Q: How fast will I get my labels?
A: We print and ship your labels within five business days. Most orders ship within three business days. Expedited shipping is available, and rush production may also be available (please call 1-866-PETER-02).
Q: I want a material or Label type not listed on your site-- Can I get it from you?
A: Yes! Peter's Custom Labels has the capacity to print a lot more labels in a lot more materials, shapes, and sizes than listed on this site. We have extremely low prices on label orders exceeding 25,000. Please call for more information.
Q: Can I split up a single order with different designs?
A: No, a single order has one design; to print multiple designs you will have to place additional orders. We need to make a new plate and set up the press for each batch of labels.
Q: What’s your guarantee?
A: Our guarantee is 100% Customer Satisfaction, or your money back. We are not responsible for typographical errors.
Q: Do I get a receipt or invoice?
A: Yes, your receipt and invoice are located under the details section of each specific order in the “Orders” tab. You will receive an email notification as well.
Q: How do I cancel or change my order?
A: You may be able to change your order after it's been placed, though fees may apply. Call us at as soon as possible at 1-866-PETER-02.
Q: Do you accept checks/money orders/purchase orders?
A: No, we do not currently accept checks, money orders, or purchase orders; major credit and debit cards and PayPal are the only valid forms of payment.
Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?
A: If you forgot your password, click on “Login” and choose the “Forgot your password” box. Please enter your email address and we will send you a temporary password, via email. You can always change your password again by going to “My Profile”
